My socks were blown off when I previewed OneApp!

OneApp.net is a comprehensive online resource for local and global ministry.

The Internet represents the biggest opportunity in history to connect, mobilize and equip the church for missions. Never before have we been able to communicate globally with such speed and detail. The intent of this effort is to coordinate web-based tools to help this generation and the next to fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.

Fulfilling the two GC’s will require leveraging existing, and developing new digital resources for the holistic advance of the Gospel among neglected and unreached peoples, wherever they are found.  God’s Kingdom work takes place in both easily accessible areas around the corner, as well as in the most remote areas of the globe.

OneApp is much more than a single web site or one digital solution. OneApp includes the development of tools which benefit first time, mission volunteers and church leaders from independent and aligned agencies and denominations.

OneApp facilitates an environment that enables networking: church to church, church to field, individual to individual, and agency to church and field.

OneApp facilitates the definition, organization, coordination, preparation, implementation, and evaluation of field projects and partnerships in every village, city, and region of the world. The tools are also developed in a multilingual framework, which allows for their utilization in multiple languages – thus OneApp is not just for English speakers.

OneApp utilizes existing and new technologies to effectively facilitate the efforts of field personnel, churches and volunteers.  OneApp creates a straight line between global and local partners.

Having previewed OneApp, I’m convinced that the potential is astounding!
I can’t wait to see this and other online tools join forces to unleash the church to be the church, locally and globally. Don’t be confused by the name, OneApp is not attempting to be the only tool but is joining together powerful digital tools for the advance of Christ’s ministry around the world.

As multiple Great Commission online applications come together for the kingdom, they work together as if they were one multi-faceted application. Just as the body of Christ consists of a multitude of unique members, each with unique gifting; OneApp brings diverse innovations together to act as one.

The results of OneApp?

Exponential expansion of volunteer mobilization is one of the greatest benefits of OneApp. OneApp addresses the barriers that inhibit rapid and massive equipping and mobilization of volunteers.  By creating a direct line between field partners and US partners, communication and proper equipping are enhanced.

Interactive mapping software with dynamic searches and banner-ads publicizing user-selected opportunities, facilitate matching and knowledgeable decision making with field input. Among other options, users can select opportunities related to people groups, denominations, specific agencies or ministry types.

Equipping of volunteers for effective innovation and service permeates the core of the system, making it a powerful resource. Perhaps the most important feature is how the system educates people to be effective while on mission. Online training offers everyone an opportunity to learn before leaving, keeping their time in the field focused on their project objectives as much as possible.

Optional, self-select, or team-select content has been developed by multiple field partners, agencies and experts. Culture, village, city, nation, project, and skill-specific content enables flexibility, breadth, and depth of training at your fingertips.

Empowering Church-Initiated Projects and People Group Strategies is central to OneApp. This tool is designed for a generation that is making her own way in missions. With an increasing number of individuals and churches initiating overseas projects on their own, OneApp serves them as the Lord leads them. Unfortunately activities initiated in a vacuum, thousands of miles away, run the risk of having limited field coordination and benefit. Too often those long-distance ministries are unsustainable because that are not connected to broader indigenous strategy. By offering templates for church-initiated projects, OneApp allows the structure and strategy of these activities to be shaped in collaboration with new, and existing international and indigenous partners. In addition, churches and volunteers benefit from a wealth of experience as they engage their projects and ministries together with field-experienced workers.

So when can you get your hands on OneApp? MissionLeader.com will provide regular updates on the development, beta-trials, and release of this kingdom suite.

OneApp is powered by Efurther.
