Want Great Mission Photos?

by Mark Morris on February 14, 2009

I learned today that People, Culture & Scenic IMB photos were recently placed in an online Picassa album.

The International Mission Board has created this great resource for individuals and churches who need awesome international images for their graphics, websites, videos, etc.  I’m told that this is just a sample of the eye candy that is coming.  An enormous database of such digital resources are being amassed which will give users free access to amazing options.  Stay tuned for more information.  But for the time being take advantage of this IMB Picassa Album with a few delicious samples. Here’s three of my favorites below.

Do you know what licence they are offered under and where you got the information from stating that they are free for general use?

After I posted my own article about it I noticed this written in the sidebar of the gallery:

The photos are for the exclusive use of the SBC, IMB, and partner agencies.

Thanks.

Those who download those photos fall in the category of partner agencies.

The VP of the IMB authorized this and the purpose of these photos is to share with likeminded partners for the sake of the kingdom.

Cool, that’s good to know.

Thanks Mark.
